I got my third client today we went to three creeks metro park to have our photoshoot, she was super kind and her kid was giving me some of the funniest faces making it super easy to capture some great real moments and candid photos. The park also provided some great lighting and backdrops for these photos with a nice mix of structures it was the perfect mix of natural and man made, really made me appreciate the beautiful moments that nature can provide. I think this was a perfect spot for her because it really let her and her kid shine. I recently had the opportunity to work with a new client, Lisa, during a portrait session at Little Italy Ristorante in Groveport, Ohio. The restaurant’s cozy and charming atmosphere provided an ideal backdrop for natural, stylish photos that truly captured Lisa’s personality. We focused on creating a relaxed and comfortable environment, allowing for genuine, expressive images. Sessions like this show how the right location can elevate a portrait and bring out the best in every client. I just printed my business cards and wow, they’re going fast! It’s been exciting to see how many people are responding to the design. (Not too bad for my second try the first version looked good but the text was way too small to read, ha!) After some trial and error, I think I finally nailed the right balance, and it feels great to put something in people’s hands that truly represents my brand.
Every photographer has that one session they’ll never forget — the moment when passion turns into purpose. For me, it was with Kevin, Chelsea, and their beautiful baby girl, Azyla.
They were the very first family to take a chance on me. I still remember how nervous I was leading up to the shoot — double-checking my gear and mentally running through poses. But the moment I met them, those nerves melted away. Kevin and Chelsea were so down-to-earth, and little Azyla.
We spent the afternoon capturing quiet moments between mom and dad, the sweet bond they shared, and Azyla’s tiny hands gripping their fingers. There was no rush — just a family being themselves, and me, lucky enough to witness and preserve it.
That session will always have a special place in my heart. It wasn’t just about the photos — it was the beginning of this journey, and a reminder that sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity to get things rolling.
Man, today was exhausting, but it was worth it. I spent the day with my little brother passing out flyers around town — not just to promote myself, but to keep pushing toward my dream. It turned out to be a great time, not just for bonding, but also to sharpen my business and social skills. Every step like this brings me closer to becoming the successful entrepreneur I’m working so hard to be. Just gotta make some business cards next!
I’m so excited (and honestly a little nervous) to finally launch my photography website. This has been a long time coming — something I’ve thought about, dreamed about, and put off more times than I can count. But today, I’m choosing to take the first real step toward building something of my own.
Photography has been a creative outlet for me. Even while working full time, I’ve always found joy in picking up my camera, capturing real moments, and learning with every shot. I’ve mostly done it for friends, family, or just for fun — but something in me kept saying, “What if you actually gave this a real shot?”
That question led to this website. It’s a place where I can share the work I’m proud of, connect with people who believe in storytelling through images, and grow from hobbyist to entrepreneur. My ultimate goal? To eventually take this full time — doing what I love every day while helping others capture memories that matter.
If you’re here reading this, thank you. Your support, even just by visiting, means everything. If you like what you see, I’m currently offering 1 free session to new clients as a way to build my portfolio and connect with more amazing people. I’d love to work with you!
Here’s to new beginnings and chasing big dreams — one photo at a time.
